He loved to sit and watch her sleep in the early morning when the sun would play beautiful colors across the planes of her face. He loves the orange glow her skin would take on as he pressed her against him, kissing the column of her neck softly until her eyes fluttered open.
She gave him a sweet smile, rested her face against his neck with a content sigh. It was moments like this he wanted to savor, lying naked next to her, cradling her in his arms, naked bodies touching, warming, aching. “Mornin’,” she would mumble against his neck, smiling.
“Good morning, beautiful.”
She would blush, press her face against his chest so he wouldn’t see it, but he always did, and his chest would rumble with laughter. “You always blush when I call you beautiful.”

“Something wrong?" he asked her.
She looked at him, looked at the simple gold band glittering in the pale morning light, and shook her head. “No, I’m fine.” She leaned forward and kissed him softly. “Never been happier in my life.”
