Summary: He would stay and watch her after work.

He had a habit of watching her, always from the shadows, looking at the concentration that etched across her face as she was bent over paperwork, late at night after the rest of the company had gone home for the evening. It was easy for him to hide in the darkened halls and watch her, leaning over her desk, eyes searching the papers for any sign of a mistake she had to correct. She was meticulous like that, always trying her hardest not to let her little mistakes slip through, determined to seem so much better at this paperwork thing than she really was. It was rather amusing, actually, that she felt the need to prove herself like that.

Sometimes she knew he was there, watching her in the dark and it was times like that where she tried extra hard to correct her mistakes. She would chew on her bottom lip, tapping her pen softly against the desk, scanning every word carefully, making sure she didn’t accidentally skip over any important details or little typos.

On some nights he would quietly slip into the room, stepping up behind her and pressing his lips to the pulse on the side of her neck. Those were the nights where she would lean back in her seat and tilt her head back, letting his lips meet hers, firm and insistent, caressing her mouth open with his tongue.

Those were the nights her papers would end up on the floor and she would take their spot on her desk.
